FA will start January 27th (Tomorrow) at Noon eastern time. This gives owners a heads up. We will only bid on Catchers to start, so when everyone is done bidding on Catchers we will move on to the next position. Any questions please ask.

Since we were originally having each position per week, are we still doing that? or are we doing 24 hours per position?

Since we were originally having each position per week, are we still doing that? or are we doing 24 hours per position? well it all depends on how long it takes for each player to get bidded on. could be a a few days, could e a few weeks.

i vote that we open a new position every four or five days, meaning multiple positions could be open at the same time.
however, i will be fine with whatever. just happy to see FA is near.

If we start tomorrow, so long as people don't just bid on everyone to raise the price to be douche-bags, this should go fairly quick. I also think that if bids are holding for 12-18 hours with regularity, that should be the time limit instead of 24 hours. Just my opinion.

also, can i choose not to take the player i bidded for and won. like if i went for VMART and catcher X. i got vmart and catcher X, but i only want vmart. what wouldi do

Well you'd have to take them both. That's the risk of bidding for more than one player at the same position.

that could happen, but i am assuming not a lot of teams will be bidding on all five positions at that time. maybe one or two players per positions will still being fought over. just have to be start about your bidding.

ok if we strictly do 168 hours per posistion (7 days), so it wouldnt haave to stand for 24 hours nessicarily aat the end best bid at 12:00 noon every thursday

I say the next position opens every week, but since some bidding battles might last a week, the previous positions should remain open after the next position opens.

It's gotta be at least 24 hrs. Only way to make it fair for everyone.
