Cubs do this trade to save close to $15M and add a young SS that can run. Morales had a rough season last year but he is still young and has some nice weapons. Spilborghs is a decent backup that can play LF and RF.

I agree to this trade because I add a good SP to give me pitching rotation to be competitive. Oswalt might be a mid rotation guy in Philly but he can still put up numbers of a number 1 or number 2.
