The Houston Astros agree to send to the Arizona Diamondbacks:
CF Chris Young (5) 2.4M
In exchange for:
CF Shane Victorino (6) 1.5M
I agree to this deal simply because Victorino should give me a slightly higher BA and more steals while holding his own in all other categories. Young is a great talent but he strikesout way too much and is very streaky. I save a tiny bit of cap as well.

i agree victorino wi.ll strt 2 decline since the batting around him is getting worse and worse, and chris young is only going up form last year, i project 270 BA 86 runs 31 HR 88 RBI and 34 steals

Chris Young has a very weak lineup in Arizona outside of Upton. Victorino also plays in a tiny park in Philly.

ESPN says .262 89 R 26 HR 77 RBI 21 SB Veto. If numbers are what cause you to Veto, take a look at Victorino's line from last year: .259avg. 84R 18HR 69RBI 34SB Not really all that attractive either. |

Approve. If DBacks thinks Young will do better than Vic, who are we to stop him. It's not a huge gap, but Young is considerably more risky.

Victorino had a down year and I don't love Young, so those facts don't justify for me.
