Mariners Send:
Matt Garza $2.25M (6) Dodgers 2nd rounder 2011 Red Sox 2nd rounder 2011
Phillies Send:
Russel Martin $1M (5) Angel Pagan $3M (6)
I do this because i get a solid catcher at Martin replacing Bengie molina who might retire and i get a very good OF. Giving up Garza doesnt hurt.

veto, garza will do well in the NL and those picks could have value. although martin wwill start at C he hasnt prven nothin in the last few yrs aside from one aall star year. as for pagan people dont know his situatuin. to add it on, phillies is the one who takes less $$$$$

Veto. 2nd round picks are valuable and could turn into blue chip prospects. Garza is a top 20 pitcher potentially, and Pagan and Martin don't really reach Garza's value in the first place.

Veto
And only, really because of the draft picks. Pagan will play (and steal some bags) just not sure if it is in CF or RF. Martin is a decent catcher even when he isn't 100%. He had that all-star year so early in his career that people assumed he was going to be that good forever. Catcher is athin position. But adding those draft picks killed this for me. Garza stands well on his own.
