Twins agreed to trade 1B Matt LaPorta 1M (3) to Boston for UT Jed Lowrie .5M (2) and prospect Will Middlebrooks.

I already have a veteran 1B and solid DH, LaPorta is just blocked. Like Lowrie's versatility and think he could get 400+ ABs this season.

i did this trade to upgrade my bench, the indians can be patient with laporta because they are rebuilding, an i heard he is having a great off season, i think laporta could be very good. this would be a great steal if he pans out.
