I got what I was looking for in return for Hnaley and that was depth. All these pitchers are incredibly talented minor league pitchers as well. Also, my team has nearly no cap room and getting rid of Beltran was a very good thing for me in this trade. Corey Patterson was on my bench, Jeff Karstens is nothing ill be sad over losing and Cecil is already having problems being sent down to triple-A. The only loss in this trade for me is losing Hanley and he is struggling, plus losing Beltrans salary will help me re-sign Reyes.
