Breaking News------The Nats, looking for a talented minor leaguer to further strengthen their stocked minor league system, traded away fan favorite John Mayberry Jr. for catcher prospect Austin Romine. Romine had been scouted for a long time by the Nats, so they were delighted to get him and now have two great minor league catchers. (Derek Norris and Romine)
Analysis on trade
The Good=Acquiring very talented and hard-working Austin Romine from the Yankees to further strengthen their minor league system.
The Bad=They lost depth by trading Mayberry and now have two very good catchers in the minors, and either Romine or Norris might end up being traded in the future due to this.

Breaking News------The Nats struck another trade with the Yanks, getting a much-needed CF in young Jon Jay. The Nats lost prospect Robbie Ray in the trade along with 1B Carlos Lee. Lee, however, had a 18 mil contract so he had to go.
Analysis on Trade
The Good=Getting a much needed CF who is also young and talented in Jon Jay and getting rid of Carlos Lee's monster contract
The Bad=When trading Carlos Lee, they lost their only 1B and l also lost pitcher propect Robbie Ray, who couldve been a valuable contributor. Ray was expendable though because of the imense amount of minor league pitching for the Nats

There is now a rumor floating around that the Nationals have decided to be sellers at the deadline and might trade Reyes and Roberts to a contender before the deadline. They are looking for prospects. Stay tuned...

Breaking News------The Nationals Finally acquire a 1st round pick for the overpaid Ryan dempster, who has his contract finish after this season!
Analysis
The Good= The Nationals finally get a 1st round pick that could be used to pick a good player or trade to move up. They also get rid of Dempster who was overpaid and struggling.
The Bad= The Nationals lose Dempster who could possibly start pitching well again, but the Nats are thrilled with this trade.

Breaking News-------The Nats acquired another 1st for two good prospects, Tyler Holt and Andrew Brackman!
Analysis
The Good=The Nats acquire a 1st round pick that could be a top-15 pick!They now have 2 1sts. Also, Brackman is 25 and he will never be a impact player as far as the Nats are concerned.
The Bad=The Nats lose Brackman, but with their immense pitching, they could trade him. The big loss is OF Tyler Holt who is a organizational favorite who has potential. But with 2 1sts, they could now have a great draft.

Anaylsis
The Good=The Nats acquire a top-10 player and the #1 3rd baseman in all of baseball in Evan Longoria for two medicore MLBers
The Bad=The Nats had to give away their top-3 prospects in this trade, but you have to give away premium prospects to get premium players. Besides, the prospects might turn out to being scrubs.
