Nationals Get- Aaron Crow (Prospect) Domonic Brown .3 mil 6 years left
Rays Get- Jose Reyes 11 mil 1 year left Matt Joyce 2.1 mil 4 years left
I accept this trade because I do not want to or think that I will re-sign Reyes. He's a speed guy, so he starts to see his value fall earlier than others. He will also cost at ton and im not willing to pay one player 15+ mil unless he is a top 10 player. Thats just me. Meanwhile, I get a top pitching prospect in Crow and acquire a player who will be a star in the coming years in Domonic Brown. Matt Joyce also will not continue his hot streak even though it hurts me to lose him. And as you have seen since my past few trades, my farm system is locked and LOADED.

Accept, because although it hurts to give up the top guys from my farm I get a top 30-40 guy in Reyes, and Joyce has been doing well. Also I am a Mets fan and will re-sign Reyes. Infield after trade has Pujols, Zimm and Reyes!

Approve...but Rays there is no resigning in this league, you can resign only if he gets resigned by January 1st.

Wow Luigi! What if he is traded to another team (i.e. if the Mets traded Reyes to Team X and Team X signed Reyes to a 5 year extension would that be considered a resigning or no because he is traded first?)

pass but it wud be interesting to add a possibility to resign players. Other leagues have done where they average the top 5 contracts out for a resigning price, or you could make a very high ratio to ability or previous stats

You weren't here then but it was the best part of the league so far!

True but I don't know if we want exorbitant salaries like that.
Post it under league wire; something interesting to at least discuss.
