Padres accept we get James Loney who we believe has not reached his potential yet and we give up a MiLB pick and two spects also we get a starting 1B.

Loney hasn't reached his potential yet? 5 years in the majors and never had more than 15 homers and 10 steals. Pretty sure that he's at his max now. Solid hitter who'll give ya .300-15-10 but don't expect more.
