Rumors abound Network Associates Coliseum that the A's are close to dealing Ace Trevor Cahill.
With the recent departures of fellow starters Gio Gonzalez and Brett Anderson, speculation arose that Cahill would be next.
" We have had discussions with several teams over the passed few weeks regarding Trevor," A's GM Rich Patrick said via telephone. " We have had a lot of good offers, but nothing has knocked our socks off. All I can say right now is Trevor is an Oakland A. Bottom line."
