In a press conference at 9:00 AM EST, The Seattle Mariners GM will formally announce his reisgination as Mariners GM. He would like to thank the LM's, Cubs and White Sox, for making the league a great league and he hopes that the league runs smoothly for the rest of the season as well as future years. This shocking resignation from the Mariners GM was because of the team's poor performence. The Mariners GM is quoted as saying "My team sucks, I wanna get outta here." That is true though, as this week, the Mariners are currently loosing 2-10-2. They are in last place in their division, and 13th or 14 overall in the American League. New Mariner B.J. Upton, a former all-star, is sad to see the Mariners GM leave. Upton said, "Man, this is tough. Our GM was a special guy to me. I was born and raised in Seattle, and he brought me back here. I will always remmeber him." Nothing is official yet, but reports are flying around that Upton will become a player-manaer, as no other person is willing to take over this horrible baseball team. If the Mariners bad play continues, they will likely be sent down to AAA and will be replaced with an expansion franchise that will most likely play in Salt Lake City, Utah. More news will come later on the stunning resignation of the Mariners GM.
