Red Sox vs. Tigers Match-up of the Week
This will be a good match-up. I think the Tigers win in a close one. I think the Tigers have a slightly better offense right now, both have a good bullpen, and that the Red Sox have a better staff. This match-up could go either way.
Marlins vs. Nationals
Marlins win fairly easily. Nationals dont have a full roster of hitters or pitchers.
Pirates vs. Dodgers
These 2 offenses are fairly equal but the Dodgers have the edge in pitching. I think the Dodgers win about 9-5.
Cubs vs. D-Backs
With the Cubs building up their minor league system the D-Backs will beat them fairly easily this week.
Phillies vs. Padres
The Phillies have the advantage in offense and pitching due to all the injuries on the Padres staff. Phillies win fairly easily.
Mets vs. Rockies
The Mets have a few injuries on offense but the teams are close in both pitching and offense. I think this is a close match-up that the Mets win.
Braves vs. Giants
The Braves lost Chipper but get Prado back this week. I think the Braves have a more solid offense. The Braves have less pitching but IMO a better staff. I think the Braves win in a fairly close match-up with the final being about 8-5-1.
Reds vs. Brewers
The Reds have a slightly better offense and a better pitching staff. I think the Reds win fairly easily but it isn't a blow out.
Astros vs. Cardinals
Astros have a better team all around. The wain easily in what will probably be a blow out.
Yankees vs. Rangers
Rangers win this one. I think they win fairly easily and in a blow out due to injuries on the Yankees. Even without the injuries I think the Rangers still win.
Indians vs. Angels
I think the Angels win this one fairly easily due to injuries. With A-Rod going on the DL, that gives the Indians 3 starting guys on the DL. This match-up will be won because of the Angels offense.
Blue jays vs. Rays
The Rays should win this one fairly easily but it wont be a blowout. The Rays should win this match-up because their offense is better. Jays have more pitching but the Rays have more quality pitching.
Royals vs. Mariners
The Royals win this one in a close match-up of the 2 worst records. Royals win this one due to recent call-ups in the Royals organization.
O's vs. A's
I think the O's win this match-up fairly easily. They have a better offense and a better staff. Don't count out the A's staff or bullpen though because they are both good.
Twins vs. White Sox
The White Sox should win this match-up fairly easily. The White Sox have a better staff and a solid offense. The way some of the Twins players have been playing, they have a chance to keep up in some categories there and their staff could compete.
