i will send prospects OF donovan tate, SP anthony bass, SP chia jen lom and OF robbie grossman (pit) to the blue jays for CF vernon wells 23 mill (2014).
i did this to get a good cf in wells who i think will thrive in LAA. i take on lots of cap but my team is almost done. i think my line-up looks real good.

I agree. Finally getting rid of the anchor that is Wells' contract. I love Tate and think he is the real deal. Got a couple nice pitchers as well.

Donovan Tate is a really good talent that should be up quicker than people think. And I am pretty sure Jen-Lo could be up as soon as 2013. Bass could shine in the pen in a year or two and Grossman's not half bad. The real jewel is Tate, though. Put all that against Wells' contract, and you have a win for the Blue Jays. But Wells still has value so Padres get a good player.

I think that Tate and the other prospects are worth a little more and Wells contract is bad. but despite this Wells played great last year and should help out the Padres.
