All are prospects:
Reds gets: Zack Cox, 3B and Seth Blair, Sp
Cardinals gets: Devin Mesoraco, C and Bill Bray, Rp/Sp
Reds did this trade beacuse already have a young C in Soto for long term. Mesoraco was my best prospect but would have to part with either him or Soto somethime in the future anyway. Also 3B is not that deep on my team with an injury prone DeRosa and an aging Wiggington. Also the MLB cardinals dont have a for sure long term 3B so Cox might fit into thier lineup nicely. Blair is hopefully going to end up being a quality middle of the rotation starter. Bray is not that much of a loss even though he will see some MLB time this year, he is a very old prospect.
