Mets pay 2011 contract to red sox only. If Red Sox trade Justin then the salary compensation is void. Mets are out of paying.
Red Sox send
James Loney 1.0 (4)
Denard Span 1.0 (3)
Jose Inglesias prospect
Junchin Tazawa prospect
I accept to add younger depth and add a top SS and RP depth to my minor roster. Justin is risky but the rewards can be great for a team to compete now.
