I accept this trade. My team isnt a serious contender so moving Oswalt for some future made sense to me. I feel Pelzer can be a good RP in MLB soon and Adams and Givens gives me depth in the farm in MI. And I needed to add depth to my farm after trading away a lot of prospects in previous trades. I dont mind paying the money becuase I wasnt going to go after a big FA anyway and $4M next year wont hamper me much with all the young talent I should have.

I accept this trade because I have a couple top prospect pitcher already in Klein and Flores..And I have Starlin Castro at SS and Machado in my farm system at SS. I needed SP as I only have Halladay and Tillman...Oswalt is a great add to my rotation as I don't have to pay for him this year and pay only $12M of his $16M salary next year... So I still have all my available cap to add the remaining SP's
