I proposed this trade to get Alex Rodriguez who i think will still be top 5 at 3B this season and although Michael Young is still good, i don't know where he will end up playing. I also like Beckham because I feel he will break out and Hochevar is a young pitcher with #2 starter potential in my opinion. I should be able to afford A-Rod's contract next season because i will be gaining 12.5 Million from David Ortiz becoming a Free Agent.

I accept. A-Rod was weighing me down and though I like his numbers, I did not like the contract. I am obviously doing some sort of rebuild job and Kinsler is young and cheap with an already established reputation in the Majors. Holland is also young with upside. Young is still decent and cheaper than A-Rod.

This trade is really good for the Yankees, especially if Beckham bombs again.
Rangers will get A-rod so his numbers will make up for Beckham should he falter.
